PowerWood wants to make the Consultancy Services accessible to individuals and families from all walks of life in a social justified way, therefore a tiered model for fees based on family income has been chosen.

Fees are dependant on the gross family income including benefits before tax and National Insurance Contribution.

Thank you for supporting PowerWood in this aim.

Please keep in mind that for every contact hour with a PowerWood Consultant an extra unseen hour work appears in research, preparation, processing and administration.

Thank YOU

Your fees allows PowerWood to also support less privileged families or individuals and offer Concession Fee and Reduced Fee and allows PowerWood to develop sustainable and further raise awareness in many ways and continue to gather and develop and improve tools, theories, strategies and services to support neuro-diverse families and individuals living with intensity, super-sensitivity and hyper-reactivity based on the needs of the PowerWood Community.

Monthly Payment

Deciding to have Consultancy sessions is often an unexpected cost for individuals or families, whatever your income is, therefore it is possible to pay monthly through a Direct Debit set up by PowerWood. This feature is for now only available in the UK and certain countries in Europe.

Concession or Reduced Fee

If you like to apply for Concession Fee, available for families with an income below £10.000, or want to discuss your options when experiencing financial hardship, a Reduced Fee is available for families struggling financially due to external unexpected factors e.g. chronic diseases etc. please let this know during your Free Introductory Talk if you would like to go ahead with one or more sessions.

Discussing the Fee

If after the Free Introductory Talk you are considering to book one or more Consultancy sessions, you are welcome to discuss with Simone de Hoogh the different options and if needed she will bring you into contact with the right persons to talk about further details or where to apply for Concession or Reduced Fee.

Your Free Introductory Talk of 45-60 minutes by Skype or FaceTime will be with Senior Consultant Simone de Hoogh.

During this Free Introductory Talk you will get the chance to assess if you think or feel if working with Simone would be the right path forward for you.

For Simone de Hoogh this talk is a chance to get to know you a bit and collect information about you and your situation and to assess if she or PowerWood can be of help in any way or if she better refer you to someone else or another organisation.  Simone de Hoogh will explore together with you what the issues are that you or your family feel challenged by and explore the bigger picture. At the end of your talk, she will share if she thinks she or PowerWood current services can be of help and if yes how.

Emotion Regulation

Multilevel Emotion Regulation Theory (MERT) is a holistic theory developed by  Simone de Hoogh.  The theory explains how neurodiverse (young) individuals and parents of neurodiverse children can develop emotional regulation skills and direct their energy towards self-chosen goals, and contribute to society.

*Overexcitability Test

OE (Overexcitability) is an element of a Developmental Theory –Theory of Positive Disintegration by Dabrowski- that is one of the underpinning theories of MERT (Multi-level Emotion Regulation Theory) developed by Simone de Hoogh. Overexcitability explains and allows us to look at ‘extreme’ behaviour as a valuable asset in our or our children’s life.

*Boundary Test

A HUGE thank YOU to the son and daughter of Ernest Hartmann’s who gave PowerWood permission to use and put the full academically approved questionnaire about the Boundary in the Mind on PowerWood’s website.
