Thanks so much for meeting with my partner and me the other week and for your insights on our relationship with our son [7 years old] and how best to help him.
He (our son) does like it when we’re the boss! He’s calmed down significantly as a result.
We’ve also started doing some of the things that you suggested and there’s been a significant change for our relationship with our son. He does like it when we’re the boss! He’s calmed down significantly as a result. I’m finding it easier to manage my own reactions. This feels like a significant enough shift that we wanted to let it bed in before thinking about what we would want from further sessions.
